Dirty Engine? Clean It Up?
Engine bays get dirty over time. Even though they generally have the hood covering them, there is plenty of dirty coming up from under the car and from the front through the radiator. Engine bay cleaning is safe. Newer cars have all electrical parts sealed to prevent water from getting to them. For older cars, we cover any sensitive areas. After we are finished washing, we blow out all the water to it cannot works its way into other sensitive areas. At the end, we dress all plastics with a dry to the touch dressing so it will not attract dust.
Our Process
1. Inspect Engine Bay
We looks over the engine and make sure there’s no areas we need to cover up or pay special attention to during the wash
2. Cover Sensitive Areas
What needs to be covered depends on the car. This could be the battery, fuse box, intake, etc.
3. Spray and Agitate
We spray down the engine bay with degreaser and use a variety of bushes to get into all the small crevices
4. Blow and Dry
Last step of cleaning is to blow out the water and then wipe dry with a microfiber cloth
5. Dress and Inspect
We use a dry to the touch dressing on all plastics. Finally, we look over the engine bay to make sure we got everything
