The Ultimate Detail
Do you want to bring your car to shows? Or do you want to make your car look like it did the day it rolled off the showroom floor? This is your detail. If it can be done to your vehicle, it will be. We polish everything from the paint and rims, to the plastics inside your ride. After we are finished, we top it all of with a 5 year coating to keep your vehicle looking nice.
This is a very intensive detail that we usually set aside two to three days to complete. During that time we transform your vehicle. You might not even recognize it.
This detail includes Paint, rim, exhaust, and interior plastic polishing. We also shampoo all carpets and clothe seats. Leather seats will be coated. All fabrics will be coated with a water repellant. The paint and rims will be coated. The headliner will be scrubbed to perfection. Your glass will be cleaned and coated as well. We top it all off by adding a scent of your choice to the inside.
You won’t want to even sit in your vehicle after we are finished.
Our Process
1. Remove Items
Anything that looks personal will be kept for you to sort through. We do ask that you try to remove anything personal and private from the vehicle before we begin.
2. Vacuum
We do a thorough vacuuming, using compressed air and a drill brush to help loosen the debris in the carpet and get debris from tight areas.
3. Shampoo and Extract
We pretreat the seats and carpet to break down the dirt, then rinse the dirt and cleaner our of the seats using our extractor.
4. Clean Plastics and Leather
We use detail brushes and steam to clean all the nooks and crannies around your plastics and seats.
5. Glass
We clean all clear surfaces surfaces. Your windshield, door glass, back glass, rearview mirror, vanity mirrors, gauges and remove any streaks on your infotainment center.
6. Pre Rinse
Now to the outside. We need to remove as much dirt from the paint as we can. We use a lower powered pressure washer to blast away as much dirt as we can.
7. Wheels
We use a variety of brushes to get the face and inner wheel. We also attack the fenders while we are there.
8. Pre Soak
Foaming up your vehicle helps loosen the dirt. As the foam drips off the paint, it carries most of the dirt with it. Plus, we think it looks cool.
9. Mid Rinse
Now that the foam has had time to loosen up the dirt, We rinse off the vehicle again to wash as much away as possible.
10. Hand Wash
We gently was your vehicle with microfiber wash mitts. We use super soft detail brushes to get around emblems and other small areas.
11. Post Wash Rinse
Now that everything has been agitated, its time to rinse again. This will reveal clean paint that was hiding under all that grime.
12. Dry
Blowing off the water gets the majority off, then we come back with a huge microfiber drying towel and pull it across the surface. We do not add any pressure, just the weight of the towel.
13. Clay Bar
Using a detail spray as lubricant, we clay bar your paint to remove all those embedded contaminants. This leaves behind paint that feels as smooth as glass. If your paint feels rough, it probably needs this.
14. Outside Glass
After clay baring is the best time to clean the glass, as all of the contaminants are gone and all that’s left are the smudges from the claying process. So we spray and wipe down the glass to give you a crystal clear view of the road ahead.
15. Compound and Polish
This is a big step. We go over every inch of your car removing every scratch we see. We start with the interior plastics such as your center console gauge cluster and move to the outside where we go over the paint, rims, and exhaust tips. After polishing, we wipe everything down with a prep spray to get ready for a coating.
16. Coatings
Everything gets a coating. If there is a form of protection for it, we apply it. Leather, plastics, cloth, paint, rims and glass. Some of the coatings require a second coat. All should wait at least 48 hours before getting wet.
17. Dress Tires
Finally, we give the tires a shine. This will not cause sling as the dressing is dry to the touch moments after applying.
18. Checklist
Finally, we go back around the vehicle and looks for areas we may have missed or can improve on and take care of them before presenting the vehicle to you.
